Accounting Officer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Officer to join our growing firm. This role requires at least 2 years of accounting experience and offers opportunities for professional development within a reputable accounting practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax filings, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in audits and provide financial analysis as needed.
  • Supervise and guide junior staff when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and government compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
