Be part of our client's team as a Data Quality Specialist, ensuring admissions data is accurate, consistent, and actionable. You'll manage key datasets, perform audits, support reporting, resolve data discrepancies, and collaborate across teams to improve workflows, enabling seamless student experiences and informed decision-making.

What You Need to Bring

• Legal right to work in the designated country
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
• Educated to A-level standard; Undergraduate or Master's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience working with data in an operational or administrative environment
• Strong IT skills and proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data validation, data manipulation)
• Experience with quality control processes and data management
• Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong numeracy skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks
• Positive attitude and solution-oriented behavior
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Experience preparing data reports and presenting findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
• Strong understanding of database architectures
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What You'll Take Charge Of

Data Management

• Review and maintain data across all core platforms to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability
• Perform regular data audits and quality checks to identify, correct, and prevent errors
• Manage key data sets related to courses, progressions, student and sponsor billing rules, entry requirements, customer contacts, document requirements, pre-screening rules, and deadlines
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data issues and enhance data workflows
• Document all data changes, including source references and justification for amendments

Data Governance and Analysis

• Follow internal data handling and security protocols
• Support the production and review of Admissions Data Quality reports
• Conduct basic root-cause analysis for recurring data issues
• Write and document Data Quality rules to standardize data inputs and ensure consistency across Admissions
• Provide insights from data analysis to support operational decisions and continuous improvement initiatives

Data Preparation and Upload

• Prepare and format structured data sheets for upload into internal systems (courses, entry requirements, sponsor rules)
• Ensure all data is accurate, complete, and aligned with internal templates and validation rules
• Collaborate with data owners and operational teams to gather required input and clarify discrepancies before upload

Ad-Hoc Data Tasks

• Support one-off or urgent data requests from Admissions, Customer Success, or Centres
• Investigate and resolve data-related issues or discrepancies as they arise

Research and Reporting

• Support Admissions Managers by creating and maintaining reports and dashboards using Salesforce and Excel
• Conduct research on admissions-related data sets, including entry requirements, international equivalencies, and other relevant benchmarks
• Maintain records and databases of partner institutions, including admissions criteria and programme details
