Job Description

Be part of our client's team as a Data Quality Team Lead and oversee accurate admissions data, guide a high-performing team, streamline workflows, and resolve complex issues. You'll transform raw data into actionable insights, support operational decisions, and ensure a seamless experience for students and internal stakeholders alike.

Expertise, Skills, and Experience to Lead

  • Legal right to work within the country designated on the contract
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
  • Educated to A-level standard; Undergraduate or Master's Degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience managing and analyzing data in operational or administrative environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data validation, pivot tables, data manipulation, and Power Query
  • Experience with quality control mechanisms and data management
  • Proven ability to prepare and present data reports clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience engaging non-technical stakeholders, explaining data insights, and advocating data best practices
  • Extremely high attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Flexibility and willingness to undertake and learn new tasks
  • Positive attitude and solution-oriented behaviors
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain process and procedure records
  • Experience using Salesforce or another similar CRM system
  • Strong understanding of database architectures

  • Experience in leading or supervising a team, ideally in data, operations, or admissions environments
  • Understanding of data governance, compliance, or security best practices

Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead and support a team of Data Quality Specialists to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data tasks
  • Monitor workloads, set priorities, and evaluate team performance
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews to maintain engagement and accountability
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for complex issues and decision-making

Data Management and Quality Assurance

  • Oversee review, entry, and maintenance of admissions-related data across core systems
  • Perform and supervise regular data audits and quality checks to identify and correct errors
  • Ensure integrity of critical data sets, including Courses, Progressions, Student and Sponsor Billing Rules, Entry Requirements, Customer Contacts, Document Requirements, Pre-screening Rules, and Deadlines
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data issues and enhance workflows

Process Improvement and Operational Excellence

  • Identify inefficiencies or recurring issues in current data processes and propose or lead improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data quality procedures, workflows, and best practices
  • Write and document Data Quality rules to standardize data inputs and ensure consistency across Admissions
  • Provide insights from data analysis to support operational decisions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Advocate for data quality best practices within Global Admissions Operations and Customer Success teams

Data Preparation and Upload

  • Prepare and format structured data sheets for upload into internal systems
  • Ensure all data is accurate, complete, and aligned with internal templates and validation rules
  • Collaborate with data owners and operational teams to gather required input and clarify discrepancies before upload

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with stakeholders across Admissions Operations, Technology, and Customer Success to resolve data-related issues and support process enhancements
  • Communicate clearly to ensure alignment on priorities, deadlines, and quality expectations
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects as a subject matter expert for data operations

Reporting and Analysis

  • Provide regular reports on team performance, data quality, and operational metrics
  • Track trends in data errors or processing issues to inform training needs and process improvements
