Job description:

We are looking for a Data Analytics and Quality Specialist who will be the company's central point of contact for ensuring data quality, accuracy, and accessibility across our data lake, EMR, and ERP systems. This person will maintain and monitor data pipelines, validate data integrity, manage metadata, and extract actionable insights for business users. The ideal candidate has both technical skills in data engineering and analytics, and a vision for data visualization and storytelling that empowers decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor data pipelines and conduct regular data quality audits across EMR, ERP, and other data sources.

· Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data inconsistencies or anomalies.

· Define and enforce data quality standards, metadata definitions, and validation rules.

· Collaborate with data engineers to improve ETL/ELT processes and ensure accuracy during data ingestion.

· Serve as the main point of contact for all internal report requests across departments.

· Design and build automated dashboards, scheduled reports, and ad hoc data extracts using BI tools.

· Write complex SQL queries to aggregate and transform data from multiple sources.

· Document datasets, data lineage, and reporting logic to ensure reproducibility.

· Develop intuitive and interactive dashboards and visual reports that highlight business performance metrics.

· Recommend visualization approaches and data storytelling best practices for non-technical users.

· Collaborate with business leaders to translate data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.

· Contribute to the development of the company's overall data strategy and analytics roadmap.

· Stay updated on data quality frameworks, visualization trends, and new technologies.

· Provide guidance on data literacy to teams across the organization.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.

· 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or data stewardship roles.

· Solid knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).

· Experience working with data lakes or cloud data warehouses (AWS S3 + Athena, Redshift, Azure Data Lake, or Google BigQuery).

· Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, Google Looker Studio, or Qlik Sense).

· Familiarity with ETL tools or data pipeline frameworks such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Talend, or dbt.

· Hands-on experience with Python for data cleaning, analysis, and automation is an advantage.

· Understanding of data governance, privacy (especially in healthcare/EMcontexts), and compliance best practices.

Preferred Skills

· Experience working in healthcare, manufacturing, or enterprise ERP environments.

· Knowledge of APIs and data integration with systems like SAP, Oracle, or in-house ERP/EMapplications.

· Basic understanding of machine learning pipelines or predictive analytics is a plus.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
