About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at ROLLING PANDA HOTPOT FACTORY under EPICUREX CORP. in NS Amoranto Quezon City Metro Manila. As the Kitchen Manager, you are responsible for the overall operation of a kitchen, including overseeing staff, managing food inventory and cost, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and maintenance. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

  • Staff Management: training, scheduling, and supervising kitchen personnel to ensure efficiency and teamwork.
  • Food Safety & Quality: Enforcing health and safety standards, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food is prepared and presented correctly.
  • Inventory & Ordering: Managing food inventory levels, ordering supplies, and overseeing food deliveries and storage.
  • Cost Control: Monitoring and managing labor costs and food costs, contributing to a profitable operation.
  • Operations: Overseeing all daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and workflow.

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (5+ years) in a restaurant service management role, preferably within a high-volume, fine-dining or upscale casual dining environment
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a hands-on approach to resolving issues
  • Kitchen managers with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, a thorough understanding of food safety, cost control, and inventory management, and the ability to motivate staff to consistently produce high-quality food under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food costing, inventory management, and strategies to reduce waste and control expenses effectively.
  • The ability to maintain consistent food quality that meets both company standards and customer expectations.
