PROJECT ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR

Reports to: Project Manager, VP Technical Services Engineer and Technical Services Manager

Supervises: Team Leads and Project Staffs

RESPONSIBILITIES

I. Job Summary:

The Project Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and technical execution of engineering projects. This role ensures that projects are carried out according to defined plans, technical standards, and quality expectations. The Supervisor supports project planning, monitors task completion, and provides direct guidance to engineers and technicians. Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, the Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring team coordination, technical accuracy, and timely project delivery.

II. 1. Project Coordination, Monitoring & Execution

· Coordinate day-to-day activities and tasks across assigned engineering projects.

· Prepare and update project schedules, work plans, and progress reports under the guidance of the Manager.

· Conduct daily/weekly project check-ins with the team to track status, address issues, and escalate risks as necessary.

· Support on-site or off-site project execution and ensure alignment with project scope, timeline, and budget.

III. 2. Project Documentation & Compliance

· Ensure timely preparation of project documentation such as inspection reports, test records, and installation checklists.

· Review engineering deliverables for accuracy and compliance with company and client standards.

· Support audits, quality checks, and project reviews as part of documentation readiness and compliance activities.

IV. 3. Technical Support & Guidance

· Provide hands-on technical guidance to engineers and technicians during design, installation, and commissioning phases.

· Assist in reviewing drawings, layouts, and calculations for accuracy and feasibility.

· Troubleshoot technical issues on projects and propose solutions in collaboration with senior engineers or the Manager.

V. 4. Team Supervision & Support

· Supervise a team of project engineers, drafters, or technical staff; assign tasks and monitor performance.

· Support onboarding of new team members and ensure adherence to safety and engineering standards.

· Provide regular feedback, coaching, and support for professional development.

· Promote a positive and productive work environment with a focus on quality and accountability.

VI. 5. Cross-functional Coordination

· Coordinate with Sales, Applications, Procurement, and Service teams to support effective project delivery.

· Participate in technical discussions with internal teams and clients when required.

· Communicate project status, issues, and dependencies clearly to the Manager and other departments.

VII. 6. Other Duties

· Perform additional duties or special assignments as delegated by the Project Engineering Manager.

PROFILE

Professional qualifications

n Education: Degree holder in Engineering such as Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Experience / Technical knowledge

n Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (required)

n Licensed Professional Engineer (preferred)

n 5+ years of engineering or project experience, preferably in a supervisory or team lead capacity.

n Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects

n Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems, instrumentation, and valve technologies

n Willing to travel to customer facilities, nationwide

VIII. Skills and Competencies:
