  • 1. Project Planning & Coordination


• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.


• Monitor all project stages: pipeline → ongoing → for quotation → for inspection → for close-out → billing → payment monitoring.


• Perform daily monitoring of Zycus (BDO procurement software) for approved POs and ongoing bidding events (some events last only hours).


• Coordinate with the Admin Department for weekly updates on billed and paid invoices.


• Final checking of quotations for submission or bidding.


• Negotiate with clients/procurement regarding pricing, terms, and timelines.


• Request and review updates from Project Engineers/Team Leads on budget adherence, schedule compliance, and quality standards.


• Manage the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion.


• Resource allocation – Ensure proper manpower, tools, and materials are assigned for each project phase.

2. Financial & Documentation Control


• Check and verify liquidation reports; perform final review before submission.


• Evaluate and submit progress billings to clients.


• Prepare and review Service Reports, Completion Photos, and Certificates of Completion.


• Monitor and approve Daily Time Records (DTRs) of head office and site workers.


• Track project expenses and ensure alignment with the approved budget.


• Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions when necessary.


• Change order management – Document and process scope changes, including their impact on project cost and schedule.

3. Site Management & Quality Assurance


• Conduct site evaluations for potential new projects.


• Supervise the MEPF Team, Project Engineers, and Team Leads.


• Conduct site inspections, especially for technical or high-value projects.


• Monitor compliance with safety protocols, PPE requirements, and house rules.


• Perform overall quality control, including budget, schedule, plans, and personnel performance.


• Ensure corrective measures are implemented in a timely manner.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management


• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients; promptly address concerns and issues.


• Interact daily with clients and attend meetings for project engagement.


• Conduct clarification meetings to ensure alignment with client requirements.


• Negotiate project specifications, budgets, and timelines with clients.


• Report project progress regularly to stakeholders and clients.


• Vendor/supplier management – Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for project implementation.

5. Team Leadership & Development


• Training & mentoring – Guide junior engineers and supervisors on technical and management aspects.


• Provide feedback and performance evaluations for team members.


• Promote a collaborative, safety-conscious, and results-driven work culture.
