  • Oversee and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to design specifications, building codes, and project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control protocols on-site.
  • Coordinate and manage site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow and resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare and review site reports, including daily logs, progress reports, and quality checklists.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is carried out according to approved plans and specifications.
  • Manage the procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and resources required for the project.
  • Resolve technical issues or design discrepancies that may arise during the construction process.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure design specifications are followed.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all project-related activities and maintain accurate records of changes or updates.
  • Perform site surveys and inspections as needed to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Attend regular project meetings to provide updates, discuss challenges, and ensure that work is progressing as scheduled.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Must be registered/board passer
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively.
  • Proficient in using construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in construction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
