Job Description:

The Billing Officer is PRIMARILY responsible for the regular billing and timely collection of the company's receivables, keeping track of the payment collections from clients and calculation of commissions. He/she should be able to exhibit trustworthiness, meticulousness in work and professionalism. Has strong interpersonal skill, can effectively communicate to team members and able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares Billing Statements and Statements of Account
  • Monitors Account Receivables
  • Reports on collections and accounts receivable status
  • Prepares a monthly report on overdue and outstanding accounts/ billings
  • Updates status records and collection efforts
  • Assists in the timely collection of Account Receivables
  • Monitors and prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual summary of hours logged and billed
  • Keeps track and records clients' deposits
  • Calculates commissions based on billed and collected time charges
  • Performs other tasks as may be required.

Job Qualification:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree (Finance/Accounting/Business course or equivalent)
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of working experience related to the job
  • Knowledgeable in using CoreMatter or other similar billing software
  • Experienced in generating billings and preparing billings manually and computerized.
  • Working experience with a law firm is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable is MSOffice, specially Excel
  • Able to multitask
  • Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be detailed oriented, analytical and with good organization skill
