What is the job?
The Hotel Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with clients. This role involves promoting the hotel's facilities and services to corporate, government, and leisure clients, managing accounts, and maximizing occupancy and profitability. The Sales Executive will play a vital role in achieving the hotel's sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
Your day to day
- Build a strong relationship with the Supporting team, from the Front Desk to Housekeeping Staff and other departments.
- Help prepare the departmental budget and financial plans including the hotel marketing plan
- Help create and implement sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, and increase volume.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyze current/potential market and sales trends, coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share and monitor performance of staff/team members to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan
- Help the Sales Manager in handling complaints or reviews related to group/corporate sales or marketing initiatives.
- Help guests – you'll be happy to help if someone needs assistance with a request or complaint.
- Provide guests with information to enhance guest experience.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to produce group and/or convention business to include room sales.
- Schedule conventions and /or business group activities at the hotel and coordinate with other hotel-level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients Responsible Business
- Recommend strategies to raise the awareness and reputation of your hotel and the brand locally.
- Recommend improvements to marketing activities and overall hotel sales performance and work with other departments
- Ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done
What we need from you?
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing or any related field
- Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience in a hospitality or hotel sales setting.
- Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Possesses professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
