Senior Salesforce Developer

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing and building world-class Salesforce applications to support CRM, engagement, care management, and scheduling requirements. This role is responsible for developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, gathering technical requirements, analyzing project objectives, creating customer workflows, and troubleshooting errors.

Job Description

• Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to address business needs and requirements.

• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and related technologies.

• Gather technical requirements and analyze project objectives that align with organizational goals.

• Determine Level of Effort (LOE) for development stories and provide accurate estimates for project timelines.

• Maintain the security and integrity of the applications by adhering to best practices and standards.

• Write and maintain code documentation, as well as develop user manuals for all custom development.

• Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new updates to applications and code.

• Collaborate with the Salesforce Team to validate business and system considerations such as security and scalability.

• Test the stability and functionality of the developed applications to meet quality standards.

• Troubleshoot and fix bugs identified during testing or reported by end users.

• Write technical documents to outline the functionality and usage of Salesforce applications.

• Provide technical training and support to ensure teams effectively utilize the developed solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of basic certifications for Salesforce Developers:

o Salesforce Certified Administrator

o Salesforce Certified App Builder

o Salesforce Certified Platform Developer

• Prior experience working with Salesforce applications and software development, showcasing a strong understanding of Salesforce technologies and methodologies.

• Experience in developing customer-facing interfaces, creating user-friendly and intuitive designs to enhance user experience and engagement.

• Experience working in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions iteratively and efficiently.

• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms, including proficiency in customization, configuration, and development within Salesforce environments.

• Proficiency in MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, and VisualForce, enabling the development of robust and scalable Salesforce solutions.

• Ability to analyze and solve complex software and application issues, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively.

• Proactive approach to platform enhancements, actively seeking opportunities to improve and optimize software functionalities to meet evolving business needs.

• Ability to develop scalable, best practice solutions within Salesforce environments, ensuring adherence to industry standards and optimization for long-term sustainability.

• Strong building relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering positive and productive interactions to facilitate collaboration and alignment.

• Experience in change management and governance, implementing processes and protocols to manage and control changes to software platforms effectively.

• Available and responsive to questions and inquiries, providing timely support and assistance to stakeholders to address queries and resolve issues effectively.

• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information and ideas.

Screening Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

• Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.

• Must have a stable employment history.
