We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management while supervising the inventory accounting staff. This role will ensure accurate financial reporting, optimize cash management strategies, and provide insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in inventory accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis and can lead a team to drive financial efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Cash Flow Management

  • Develop and oversee financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Prepare forecasts and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity and efficient allocation of financial resources.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.

Supervision of Inventory Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Supervise the inventory accounting staff, ensuring accurate reporting of inventory costs and valuation.
  • Oversee inventory reconciliation, costing, and variance analysis to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of inventory transactions, adjustments, and financial impact.
  • Work closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to streamline inventory-related financial processes.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements related to inventory and overall company finances.

Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and inventory audits.
  • Implement and enhance internal controls to minimize financial risks and maintain financial integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, reporting standards, and company policies.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance and inventory accounting professionals.
  • Conduct training and performance evaluations to enhance team efficiency and skill development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accuracy, and accountability within the finance team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, financial planning, and cash flow management.

Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting tools.

Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial modeling.

Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead and develop a team, drive process improvements, and meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
