Job Summary:

The Kitchen Cabinet Maker / Installer is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing custom kitchen cabinets, drawers, and related furniture pieces based on design specifications and measurements. The role requires precision woodworking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read technical drawings or layouts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wooden or laminated materials for kitchen cabinets and fixtures.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools such as saws, routers, drills, and sanders.
  • Install finished kitchen cabinets, countertops, and hardware (hinges, handles, etc.) on-site.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in all fabrication and finishing work.
  • Perform surface preparation, sanding, and finishing (painting, laminating, or varnishing).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with designers, operations managers, or clients to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Inspect materials and finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
  • Repair or adjust existing cabinetry when required.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or vocational course in carpentry or cabinet making.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in furniture or cabinet fabrication (preferably kitchen cabinets).
  • Proficient in using woodworking machines, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
  • Knowledge of different wood types, finishes, and laminates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php850.00 per day
