Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Application Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth business application service operations, resolving technical issues, and driving process improvements. You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage escalations, and help optimize system performance to deliver consistent and efficient service to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth operations of business applications by resolving issues promptly.
  • Facilitate seamless transition of application features from development to production.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize business application operations.
  • Assist in automating manual activities to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders during incident and problem management.
  • Manage escalations related to operational concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in SQL development.
  • Proficient in writing queries, stored procedures, and functions, with the ability to troubleshoot database performance issues.
  • Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with incident and problem management processes.
  • Hands-on experience with collaboration/ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Confluence.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe); release management experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
