About the role

As an Audit Supervisor you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of the organization. Based in Davao City, Davao del Sur, this full-time position will see you lead a team of auditors in conducting comprehensive audits, identifying areas for improvement, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance the company's financial operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee and direct the audit process, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
  2. Manage a team of auditors, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
  3. Analyse financial data, identify risks, and develop effective audit strategies
  4. Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and action plans
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and drive continuous improvement
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, best practices, and emerging audit trends
  7. Contribute to the development and implementation of audit policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. Professional certification, such as CPA or CIA, is highly desirable
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in external auditing, preferably in the agricultural industry
  4. Proven track record of leading audit teams and delivering high-quality, impactful results
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
  7. Proficient in the use of audit software and data analysis tools
  8. Thorough understanding of financial regulations, internal controls, and compliance requirements
