About the role

We are seeking a motivated Research and Development Staff to join our team at CPEFoods PHILS INC.'. As a full-time role based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for conducting research and development activities to support the company's product innovation and improvement initiatives in the food technology and safety industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting comprehensive market and consumer research to identify new product opportunities and trends
  • Developing and testing new food product formulations, recipes, and manufacturing processes
  • Analysing product quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate research insights into viable product concepts
  • Documenting and presenting research findings, proposals, and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and innovations in food technology and safety
  • Providing technical support and guidance to the production and operations teams

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a research and development role within the food industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw insights
  • Proficient in using laboratory equipment and conducting scientific experiments
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control processes, and product development best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations
