Job Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Nursing or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year professional safety experience in construction firms.
  • With Construction Occupational Safety and Health Training (COSH), Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH), Loss Control Management (LCM), Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC)

Job Description:

Responsible to monitor and implement all Safety Programs, procedures and guidelines that effectively prevent, control and minimize unsafe working conditions, accidents and health exposure in the Company. Ensures that effective and efficient implementation of Company Rules and Regulations, quality, policies, systems and procedures in accordance with DOLE Standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain close communication and coordination with the Management matters related to safety, health and environment issues.
  • Ensure that Management, employees and workers are properly trained and informed regarding company-specific rules and DOLE mandated safety requirements as in compliance with mandated at the Occupational Safety and Health Standards
  • Monitors and computes the company accident statistics and makes recommendations for correction of problem areas.
  • Supervise day-to-day activities of Safety Marshalls/Safety Enforcers.
  • Ensures that employees/workers are free from any danger, unsafe practices, risk or injury in the workplace or project sites.
  • Conduct daily safety evaluation and inspection on the project sites.
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluation of safety policies and procedures compliance.
  • Ensures that safety equipment's and facilities are worn and used all the time.
  • Tabulates and reports safety-related accidents in project sites.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety training.
  • Prepares and submits necessary reports and documents required by the management and regulatory bodies. (i.e. DOLE)
  • Performs other job related functions from time to time
  • Willing to deploy in different areas.
