About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Tax Officer to take a lead role in managing the company's tax audits, planning, and advisory. You will ensure compliance with BIR and LGU requirements, maximize tax efficiencies, and serve as a trusted adviser on tax implications for key business transactions.
This is a critical position that combines hands-on tax expertise with strategic advisory exposure, giving you the opportunity to contribute directly to the company's financial health and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of documentation and reconciliations for BIR audits, assessments, and refunds.
- Draft replies to Notices of Discrepancies and Assessment Notices.
- Monitor and handle LGU tax issues and audits.
- Identify and implement opportunities for tax savings, credits, and incentives.
- Provide tax advisory on acquisitions, transfer pricing, and other business transactions.
- Update and ensure adherence to the company tax manual and transfer pricing policies.
- Act as company liaison with the BIR, LGUs, and external consultants.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
- Strong experience in Philippine taxation, audits, and statutory reporting.
- Skilled in SAP and/or NetSuite.
- Advanced Excel skills with keen attention to detail.
- Adaptable, organized, and able to thrive under pressure.
- Willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig City.
Salary of PHP 60K–75K/month
