About the Role

We are looking for a Tax Officer (Energy Sector) to support the Tax Head in ensuring compliance, managing documentation, and assisting with tax return filings and audits. This role is essential in maintaining accurate reporting and helping the company meet all BIR, BOC, and LGU requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Tax Compliance team to manage tax risks and improve tax processes across the group.
  • Support timely tax audits, reconciliations, and documentation of IEMOP-related transactions.
  • Assist in preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (ARF, EWT, FWT, WVAT, FBT, VAT, ITR).
  • Reconcile tax returns with accounting records and coordinate discrepancies with accountants.
  • Assist with business permit renewals, RPT payments, and exemptions (for ITH).
  • Provide support during year-end audits and other ad hoc projects as required.
About You
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Knowledgeable in SAP and/or NetSuite.
  • Strong attention to detail with advanced Excel skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing tax reporting requirements.
  • Willing to be assigned onsite in Ortigas, Pasig City.
