Job Title: Load Planner

Location: Pandacan Manila

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Load Planner to optimize load planning, ensure efficient transportation operations, and support cost-effective delivery solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with dispatch, warehouse, and carrier teams to maximize trailer utilization, minimize empty miles, and ensure on-time delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and optimize daily outbound and inbound loads to ensure efficient route utilization.
  • Assign freight to carriers and coordinate transportation schedules based on capacity, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor shipment progress and adjust plans to address service issues, delays, or exceptions.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, dispatch, and operations teams to align load plans with inventory and production schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, weight limits, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of load plans, routes, and carrier assignments in TMS (Transportation Management System).
  • Analyze freight data to identify trends and recommend continuous improvement strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in load planning, dispatching, or transportation coordination.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and routing software.

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in [specific industry, e.g., Warehouse, retail distribution, manufacturing, or trucking].
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and freight optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems.
