Fortem Cement Corporation is seeking a results-driven
Finance Manager
to lead the company's financial planning, analysis, and control functions. The role oversees accounting operations, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with the organization's growth objectives. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and leadership skills, solid experience in financial management, and a hands-on approach to process improvement within an importation and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end financial operations including accounting, treasury, and reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, cost controls, and investment planning.
  • Supervise audits, coordinate with external auditors, and implement financial controls.
  • Lead and mentor accounting and finance staff to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Recommend process improvements and digital tools to strengthen financial systems.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • At least
    5 years of progressive experience
    in accounting or finance, with
    2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and internal controls.
  • Experience in importation, distribution, or manufacturing industries is an advantage.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
