Job Description:

  • Perform general clerical functions and assist in the logistical and administrative preparations of Environmental Studies Institute (ESI)
  • Prepare expense reports, liquidation papers, cheque requests, petty cash advances and reimbursements
  • Assist in the monitoring office expenses
  • Keep records and documents in an efficient and orderly manner
  • Ensure the availability and monitor the proper use of office supplies
  • Assists students in the exposure trips and out of campus activities and project implementations of the center
  • Coordinate and organize all events with ESI partners and monitor the projects implemented by the students
  • Liaise with other units especially Audit, QAO, SAO
  • Liase with external partners, and ocassionally represents the Executive Director
  • Participate in the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and planning processes of ESI
  • Organize team meetings, prepare minutes, prepare Zoom
  • Maintain all public and social media coordination with MCO
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the supervisor

Competencies:

  • Understands environmental work and issues
  • Use of MS Apps, Outlook, Google Files, Canva and Zoom
  • Excellent oral/written Filipino and English

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree relevant to the job; with MA units
  • Has experience in project management
  • Good oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in computer applications
