  • Basic Occupational Safety and Health Certificate (BOSH-SO2) under DOLE
  • Standard First Aid Training

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the Secretary of the EHS Committee
  • Submits to the employer a report of the activities of the committee, including recommendations made
  • Acts in a n advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to safety for the guidance of the employer and the workers
  • Conducts investigation of accidents as member of the EHS Committee and submit report and analysis of the accidents to the employer
  • Coordinates all Safety Training programs for the employees and employer
  • Conducts safety inspection as member of the committee
  • Maintains or helps in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinates actions taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes
  • Aids Government Agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspections, accident, investigation, or any other related program
  • Conduct safety orientation to the newly hired employee
  • Conducts monthly inventory of fire fighting equipment
  • Conducts monthly inventory of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Ensures that all approved safety policies, guidelines and procedures are implemented consistently in a fair and just manner
  • Review and update safety manual / program whenever necessary
  • Call the attention of an employee that violates the safety policy and give a sanction whenever necessary
