The Government Relations Intern supports the implementation of government relations strategies and programs under the supervision of senior team members. This role focuses on research, analysis, and supporting stakeholder engagement initiatives to advance client objectives in the public sector landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating stakeholder databases and relationship maps.
  • ​​Prepare briefing materials and background information for stakeholder engagements.
  • Document meeting outcomes and maintain detailed engagement records.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on client industries, government policies, and political landscapes.
  • Monitor and analyze legislative developments, policy changes, and regulatory trends related to specific industries.

Requirements and skills:

  • Undergraduate student of Political Science, Development Studies, Public Administration, Communications, or other related degree programs.
  • Experience in research and writing.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs)
  • Good communication skills, able to conduct high-level presentations.
