Job Summary:

The Quality Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Flight School's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with Civil Aviation Authority regulations, international aviation standards, and the school's policies. The role ensures that all training, operational, and administrative activities meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Flight School's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and surveillance of flight training, ground training, and administrative processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure timely resolution of non-conformities and areas of concern.
  • Maintain proper documentation of audit reports, inspection findings, and compliance records in accordance with aviation regulatory standards.
  • Support the preparation of compliance reports and documentation required by the Civil Aviation Authority and other regulatory bodies.
  • Promote quality and safety awareness among instructors, staff, and students through regular communication and training initiatives.
  • Assist in risk assessments and root cause analyses related to training and operational deficiencies.
  • Coordinate with different departments (Flight Operations, Ground Training, Maintenance, Administration) to ensure quality standards are upheld across all functions.
  • Report quality and compliance findings to the Quality Manager and recommend improvement measures.
  • Stay updated with applicable aviation regulations, standards, and best practices in aviation training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent aviation experience).
  • Preferably with knowledge of Civil Aviation Authority regulations (e.g., CAAP Part 141/147 or equivalent ICAO standards).
  • Experience in auditing, compliance, or quality assurance within an aviation or training environment is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different teams.
