RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote a high level of safety awareness among the employees.
  • Organize and conduct Weekly Safety Walk Through Inspection.
  • Monitor if appropriate safe work practices / procedures are being administered.
  • Monitor plant condition, make recommendations and take improvement actions related with Safety issues.
  • Facilitate Safety Training Program.
  • Check if records are maintained as per applicable Safety regulatory requirements and timely submission of report to statutory body, such as WAIR, AEDR & AMR. Prepare and submit other reports as required.
  • Assist in processing of all the necessary permits in DOLE.
  • Assist government inspectors in the conduct of safety and health inspection.
  • Conduct accident investigation, as required.
  • Identify hazards and ensures it is promptly controlled and communicated to concern personnel for their actions and recommend correctives measures.
  • Implement and monitor all aspects of accident prevention, fire protection, first aid policies, procedures, and programs. Investigate and determines the cause of any accident including near misses and recommends measures to prevent recurrence of similar accident.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of any related course
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in safety management in a Manufacturing Plant
  • Have Mandatory forty (40)-hour OSH training course
  • With valid First Aid Training
  • Additional eighty (80) hours of advanced/specialized occupational safety training course relevant to the industry, (e.g., industrial hygiene, safety audit, accident investigation, OSH programming, chemical safety, etc.)
  • Experience in an ISO Certified Company is an advantage
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Willing to travel if needed
  • Willing to be on a shifting schedule
  • Willing to be assigned in Mabalacat, Pampanga

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php24, Php28,000.00 per month
