RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct daily safety walk through Inspection.
  • Prepare and maintain safety reports including regulatory reports and compliance
  • Initiate and lead safety programs
  • Organize/facilitate safety trainings.
  • Promote safety awareness among the project staff/workers.
  • Monitor and ensure implementation of safe work practices / procedures
  • Prepare and submit reportorial to DOLE as required
  • Process necessary permits in DOLE
  • Assist government inspectors in the conduct of safety and health inspection.
  • Conduct and lead accident investigation
  • Identify hazards and ensures it is promptly controlled and communicated to process-owners for their actions and recommend correctives measures.
  • Implements all aspects of accident prevention, fire protection, first aid policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Investigate and determines the cause of any accident including near misses and recommends measures to prevent recurrence of similar accident.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of any related courses
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in safety management
  • Has completed the mandatory forty (40) hours OSH training course applicable to a manufacturing industry
  • With valid First Aid Training.
  • Additional eighty (80) hours of advanced/specialized occupational safety training course relevant to the industry, (e.g., industrial hygiene, Safety audit, Accident investigation, OSH programming, HIRAC, Chemical safety and TOT)
  • Qualified and eligible for certification as OSH practitioner
  • OSH Practitioner is an advantage
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Well-organized and detail oriented
  • Experience in ISO 45001 is also advantage
  • Willing to be assigned in Mabalacat, Pampanga
  • Willing to be assigned on a shifting schedule
