The Accountant shall ensure that business decisions shall be based on sound financial data, books are balanced, tax obligations are in compliance to Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and will serve as a business partner to the different divisions.

• Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing data; preparing reports;
• Prepares asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information;
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information;
• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options;
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statemen, and other reports;
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents;
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures;
• Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions;
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information;
• Secures financial information by completing database backups;
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls;
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements;
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations;
• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends; and
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Business Partnering. Maintains financial targets and performance of the company in project level details.   Monitors monthly financial performances of projects and work orders.
• Period Budgeting. Monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting. Prepares monthly actual results versus budget analyses.
• Corporate Taxes. Responsible for company taxes, direct and indirect.  Assists in handling tax audit.

BOOKKEEPING

• Prepares Journal entries and encodes the same into the accounting system (SAGE) Generates general ledger, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports from the accounting system (SAGE).
• Prepares schedules and subsidiary ledgers to support account balances.
• Prepares bank reconciliation statements.
• Prepares other schedules as required by auditors.
• Maintains financial security and confidentiality by following internal controls; Computation of taxes due of SPI and Joint Venture.
• Monitors and maintains fixed-assets records.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES

• Prepares invoices based on payment milestone
• Collection of check payments from clients
• Updates billing monitoring

Qualifications / Skills and Knowledge Requirements

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA
• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting/finance
