Pag-asa Steel seeks an Accountant who will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading the company`s accounting function.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred but not required
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in accounting and auditing, with at least three (3) years in a managerial capacity
  • Excellent grasp of managerial accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Skills in performing and managing day-to-day controlling activities related to the gathering, classification, recording, and summary of data involving financial transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to review, develop, recommend, and implement approved systems and procedures to ensure effectiveness of accounting controls
  • Excellent ability to manage people, projects, budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word);
  • Experience with statistical, ERP, and reporting software a plus
