Job title: Non-life Data Administration Processor

Qualifications:

  1. Graduate of Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or any related 4 year college/university course

  2. Has basic knowledge of
    non-life insurance

  3. Must have an experience in claims and policy administration in non-life insurance companies

Client/ Retrocessionaire Communication and Servicing

  1. Regularly communicates with clients for the administration and implementation of reinsurance contract

Contract Administration:

  1. Encode All Treaty Contracts in the System

Claims Processing

  1. Adjudicates/approves or recommends claims actions

  2. Processes claims in accordance with Company guidelines and service standards

  3. Provide technical support to Cedant's for claims reserving, claims mitigation and claims settlement.

Manages and processes retro recoveries; identifies claims with major impact to NAT Re

  1. Reviews/monitors the status of outstanding claims and ensures that loss reserves are updated.

  2. Prepares/sends claims related correspondence to Cedants, retrocessionaires to protect the Company's rights; ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  3. Monitors the progress/status of event/large losses and ensures that claims with retro recoveries are filed promptly.

  4. Recovers all claims within 30 days from the settlement of incoming claims.

Recording of Statement of Account (SOA) / Binders

  1. Validates/Checks for mathematical accuracy of submitted SOA/Binders by the Cedants, if it conforms to the treaty terms & conditions.

  2. Communicates observations, if any to Cedants' contact person for possible adjustments on the statements.

  3. Booking of Premiums, Commission, Tax and Losses Paid in the System.

  4. Send Confirmation of SOA/Binders to Cedant.

  5. Scan the SOA/Binders and saves in specific server.

  6. Files documents in designated storage areas.

Recording of Retro SOA / Retro Binders

  1. Validates/Checks for mathematical accuracy of inward premiums, commission, losses paid & tax.

  2. Booking of Premiums, Commission, Tax and Losses Paid in the System.

  3. Process/Prepares corresponding retro statements/retro binders.

  4. Send Retro SOA / Retro Binders to Retrocessionaires.

  5. Preparing Letter to IC for Retrocession Information for Foreign Business.

  6. Scan the SOA/Binders and saves in specific server.

  7. Files documents in designated storage areas.

Perform Annual Computation

  1. Premium Adjustment for Non Proportional Treaty.

  2. Sliding Commission for Proportional Treaty.

  3. Profit Commission for Proportional Treaty.

  4. Loss Participation Clause.

Others tasks:

  1. Prepares/provides the necessary data for reports submission (AMBest, IC and other regulators).

  2. Assist other Units/Department/Cedants in reconciliation of accounts.

  3. Assist in the unit's project
