Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Mortgage Loan Processor (Back Office Support) to support U.S. mortgage transactions. This role will focus on document review, compliance checks, borrower communication support, and pipeline management in collaboration with U.S.-based loan officers and processing teams.

This position is non-licensed and does not involve loan origination or sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Loan Intake & Assignment
• Receive and assign new loan submissions via email or submission form.
• Match borrowers with loan officers (specific request or round robin assignment).
• Loan Application & Initial Review
• Work with loan officers and borrowers to finalize applications in ARIVE.
• Review loan applications for accuracy.
• Pull and review credit findings.
• Identify suitable loan programs and run AUS findings (if applicable).
• Collect and review borrower documentation (e.g., purchase contract, paystubs, W-2s, bank statements, ID).
• Disclosures & Compliance
• Prepare and send initial disclosures, ensuring fee accuracy and LO approval.
• Track borrower signatures and redisclosures when terms change.
• Ensure TRID and compliance requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate notes in ARIVE for all communications.
• Borrower, LO, and Partner Communication
• Maintain consistent communication with borrowers and LOs throughout the process.
• Provide weekly borrower status updates to enhance client satisfaction.
• Assist processors with document collection.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors (appraisers, title companies, insurance agents).
• Pipeline & File Management
• Maintain an organized pipeline tracker (lock expirations, appraisal deadlines, closings).
• Perform pre-submission audits before files are sent to processing.
• Monitor AUS findings and update as needed.
• Quality Control & Loan Officer Support
• Double-check loan estimates, fees, and product selection.
• Support LOs with ARIVE training and borrower portal use.
• Track credit report charges and billing accuracy.
• Closing & Post-Closing Support
• Prepare pre-closing checklists and confirm final Closing Disclosure accuracy.
• Support condition clearing with processing teams.
• Provide borrower support at closing when needed.
• Follow up post-closing to confirm funding and payroll allocation accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of prior experience in mortgage processing, financial services, or BPO back-office support.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Familiarity with U.S. mortgage processes, TRID compliance, and Loan Origination Systems (LOS / ARIVE preferred).
• Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
• Ability to quickly learn U.S. compliance and investor requirements.
• High integrity and commitment to data confidentiality.
