About the role

This is an opportunity for a Patient Navigator to join the dynamic team at Manila Doctors Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Manila City, Metro Manila. In this vital role, you will be responsible for enhancing the overall patient experience and ensuring the highest levels of care and satisfaction across the organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing their needs, concerns and feedback in a timely and empathetic manner
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and caregivers, offering guidance throughout the healthcare journey.
  • Assist patients in scheduling appointments, accessing medical records, and coordinating follow-up care.
  • Educate patients about their diagnosis, treatment options, and available resources to improve health outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans.
  • Identify and address barriers to care, such as transportation, financial concerns, and insurance navigation.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a patient-facing or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve patient concerns
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry and an understanding of regulatory requirements and patient rights
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centred care and a passion for improving the patient experience
