US Healthcare Auditor / Virtual Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with experience in U.S. healthcare administration, specifically in Workers' Compensation and L&I (Labor & Industries) processes. This role provides crucial support to our clinical and administrative teams by managing authorizations, records requests, and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of navigating multiple insurance systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Compensation:

$1200 monthly

Responsibilities:

Workers' Compensation & L&I Support

  • Submit, track, and follow up on Workers' Compensation and L&I authorizations for services across all clinical disciplines.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with payer requirements.
  • Communicate with insurers, claims adjusters, and patients regarding authorization status.

Medical Records Management

  • Process inbound and outbound medical records requests in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
  • Track and organize patient documentation for provider review and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with external facilities to obtain necessary records.

Administrative Support

  • Assist providers and staff with scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communications as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in electronic health records (EHR) or practice management systems.
  • Support other administrative tasks such as data entry, reporting, and workflow coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in U.S. healthcare administration, ideally with Workers' Compensation and L&I authorizations.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance workflows, prior authorizations, and medical record processes.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with integrative health practices (physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, naturopathic care) is a plus.
