  • Supervise and manage different geotechnical activities
  • Assist in engineering and evaluation of tender proposal and/or project design
  • Manage and develop a geotechnical data base and if required create soil models
  • Review construction design proposals and approve geotechnical aspects
  • Manage all site and ground investigations
  • Analyse, recommendations and design of ground improvement for structural support
  • Manage the budget and cost estimate for all geotechnical investigations and ground improvement tenders and projects
  • Analyse the soil parameters and provide input to the dredging production
  • Analyse the soil parameters and study the stability of marine structures under normal and seismic conditions
  • Assist structural/coastal engineers with the design of various structures, using specialized software or calculations
  • Evaluate the sub surface conditions through study of bore log data & lab results, thereby arriving at generalized soil profile and design of soil parameters for soil and rocks
  • Carry out geotechnical related analysis of marine design works including quay walls, marine slopes and revetments, foundation design, dredging, reclamation and ground improvement
  • Analyse geotechnical findings, perform appropriate calculations and prepare reports to Manager
  • Prepare and issue drawings, specifications, data sheets and other construction documents
  • Prepare required project specifications and RFQs to conduct geotechnical and geophysical studies and site investigations
  • Prepare and review geotechnical factual and interpretative reports
  • Specify/Interpret geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring including layout planning and monitoring of various instrument layouts
  • Analyse the sub soil parameters and provide required geotechnical input to the dredging production estimators
  • Analyse and manage the reclamation monitoring activities and report issues to Manager
  • Review and approve geotechnical design developed by third party consultants
  • Provide input and technical guidance to CAD designers/ drafters and intermediate/junior level Engineers
  • Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials
  • Interact with customers and team members to complete the assigned project on time
  • Review construction design proposals and verify geotechnical aspects
  • Ensure correct design approach as per QA/QC procedure and standards
  • This is a generalist view of a Job that you have been assigned for – at times you may be ask to do above/beyond the scope of this role due to Operational requirements
  • Implement safety policies and procedures for effective and efficient functioning of the team and its operations
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
  • Identify HSE hazards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php74, Php89,458.10 per month
