The Company Nurse / HR Staff is responsible for safeguarding employee health and well-being while supporting core HR operations in a food production or commissary environment. This dual-role position ensures compliance with occupational health standards, provides medical assistance, and contributes to HR initiatives such as employee engagement, documentation, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Health and Wellness

  • Provide first aid and emergency care to employees and coordinate referrals to external healthcare providers.
  • Maintain updated medical records, incident reports, and health monitoring logs.
  • Conduct health assessments, assist in pre-employment and annual physical exams, and monitor return-to-work clearances.
  • Implement and support health and wellness programs, including vaccination drives and health education.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE, DOH, and company health and safety standards.
  • Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices in coordination with the Food Safety and QA teams.

Human Resources Support

  • Assist in onboarding processes, including orientation on health and safety protocols.
  • Support employee engagement activities and wellness campaigns.
  • Help manage HR documentation such as 201 files, attendance reports, and disciplinary records.
  • Participate in investigations related to workplace incidents and employee concerns.
  • Assist in compliance reporting and coordination with government agencies (e.g., DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth).

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
  • Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training for nurses is required.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in the same capacity, preferrably ina food production or commissary environment.
  • Familiarity with DOLE and DOH occupational health standards.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic HRIS tools.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols (e.g., GMP, HACCP).
  • Background in employee relation, engagement, or HR compliance is a plus.
