About the Role

We're hiring a hands-on Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to support an Australian client with content creation, sponsored ads management, short-form video editing, and light Shopify-related promotion.

You'll create and schedule posts, design marketing assets in Canva, produce short-form videos, run paid social campaigns, and assist with product-focused promotions on Shopify. This is a practical execution role for someone who is strong in content, creative production, and paid social optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
  • Create engaging graphics, posts, reels, and promotional assets using Canva.
  • Produce and edit short-form videos (reels/shorts/ads).
  • Set up, run, and optimise paid social campaigns (Meta/TikTok).
  • Support Shopify promotions through creative assets and campaign execution.
  • Write clear social copy and calls-to-action aligned with campaign goals.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide simple weekly updates.

Must-Have Experience

  • 3+ years in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Strong Canva design skills + short-form video editing experience.
  • Hands-on experience running and optimising Meta Ads campaigns.
  • Familiarity with Shopify or e-commerce product promotion.
  • Excellent spoken and written English for client communication.
  • Portfolio showcasing design work, videos, or social media assets.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills)

  • Experience with TikTok Ads or YouTube Ads.
  • Familiarity with scheduling or analytics tools.
