We're seeking a skilled Estimator with experience in fencing or related civil works to prepare accurate, competitive bids for commercial projects. You'll collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, interpret technical drawings, and develop pricing strategies that deliver real value. Job Highlights

  • Monthly Rate: Approximately PHP 72,000
  • Paid Hours per Week: 40

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with 1 hour unpaid break | Sydney, AU Time

  • Work Arrangement: Work from home

  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an "Independent Contractor" arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit detailed estimates for commercial fencing projects based on client specifications and site plans.
  • Perform remote project take-offs using supplied drawings and digital tools.
  • Collaborate virtually with project managers, sales reps, and operations to ensure estimates are realistic and competitive.
  • Develop comprehensive pricing strategies that balance client value and company margin.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive rates.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Provide timely updates and reports on estimating activities and pipeline status.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an estimator in fencing or other related civil and landscaping work.
  • Strong understanding of project take-offs, cost estimation, and budgeting.
  • Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Confident using remote work tools, cloud-based estimating software, and digital plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear remote collaboration with external parties.
  • Highly organised with sharp attention to detail.
  • A proactive and flexible problem-solving approach.
  • A reliable home office setup and commitment to meeting deadlines.
