We're Hiring: HR Generalist/Payroll

Job description:

Location: 747 Nicanor Padilla St. San Miguel, Manila (Near Malacañang)

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week (Full-Time)

Experience Required: 1-2 years

About the Role

We are an e-commerce company looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to manage our payroll operations. The ideal candidate has solid experience handling end-to-end payroll processes, is organized, and has a strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and government compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage employee payroll accurately and on time.
  • Compute salaries, overtime, deductions, leaves, and benefits.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records.
  • Coordinate with HR on employee changes that affect payroll (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, employment status).
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of statutory contributions and government filings (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Prepare and submit payroll summaries and reports as needed.
  • Assist in internal audits and resolve payroll-related discrepancies.
  • Recommend improvements to payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a payroll-focused role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll systems and Philippine labor regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Excel or G Suite.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

  • Previous experience in a support or coordinator role is a plus, but not required
