WORK LOCATION: Rockwell, Makati

We are looking for a high potential candidate: A subject matter expert on Corporate Contracts, M&A.

JOB OVERVIEW:

  • Providing legal services within the agreed turn-around time

  • Delivering technical know-how in a way that has a transformative impact on the business

  • Providing commercially astute advice

  • Contributing to developing the strategic direction of the business within the relative legal frameworks

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides legal advice/opinion on all matters relating to the business.

  • Advises and represents the company before government agencies, such as regulators, judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, and legislative bodies

  • Supports the business in managing and mitigating legal, regulatory, and commercial risks and assist in implementing solutions and compliance

  • Drafts, reviews and assists in the negotiation of contracts and other legal documents ensuring always that the interest of the business is amply protected

  • Supervises the work of the Legal Counsels and staff

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a law graduate and pass the Philippine Bar examination.

  • Must have a minimum of 7 to 10 years (for Legal Counsel level) and minimum 10 years (for Senior Legal Counsel level) of previous experience in legal practice.

  • Subject matter expert on fields of law specifically, contracts and commercial transactions, mergers & acquisition, regulatory compliance, litigation, and labor, governance)
