About the Role
We are seeking a TikTok Specialist with a passion for short-form video storytelling, social media trends, and data-driven content creation. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes TikTok — from understanding emerging trends and sounds to producing engaging, brand-aligned videos that captivate audiences and drive conversions.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in content creation, video editing, and social media strategy, and can effectively collaborate with creative, marketing, and e-commerce teams to expand brand reach and engagement across TikTok and other short-form video platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the brand's TikTok content strategy to grow followers, engagement, and conversion.
- Conceptualize, script, film, and edit engaging TikTok videos using brand assets, UGC (user-generated content), and product footage.
- Stay on top of TikTok trends, challenges, sounds, and editing styles, adapting them creatively to fit the brand's tone and goals.
- Collaborate with the design, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
- Analyze TikTok analytics to measure content performance, identify insights, and optimize future campaigns.
- Manage TikTok posting calendar, ensuring regular, high-quality content output.
- Engage with followers, creators, and influencers to strengthen community and brand presence.
- Coordinate with paid media teams on TikTok ad creative strategy, testing different hooks, captions, and formats to improve performance.
Competencies and QualificationsMust-Have
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in social media or content creation, with at least 2 years focused on TikTok or short-form video platforms.
- Proven ability to create viral or high-performing TikTok content that aligns with brand objectives.
- Strong skills in video editing and post-production using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or After Effects.
- Deep understanding of TikTok algorithms, engagement tactics, and trend analysis.
- Excellent grasp of storytelling, visual composition, and copywriting for short-form video.
- Highly creative, proactive, and adaptable to fast-changing digital trends.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across remote teams.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a content creation setup (e.g., smartphone with high-quality camera).
Nice-to-Have
- Experience creating content for pet, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
- Familiarity with influencer collaboration and UGC management.
- Understanding of paid TikTok ad formats and data-driven creative optimization.
- Experience managing cross-platform video strategies (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
