Role Description

As an Accounting Assistant at Achieve Without Borders Networks Inc., you'll be at the heart of our accounting department, providing crucial support through various administrative and clerical tasks. Responsibilities

  • Execute monthly bank reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable with strong attention to detail.
  • Handle VAT (2550Q) and Expanded Withholding Tax (0619E/1601EQ) returns, ensuring alignment with supporting documents.
  • Encode required tax summaries such as SLSP, Quarterly and Annual Alphalist of Payees (QAP/1604E attachment), and SAWT.
  • Generate and issue client/customer invoices based on agreements, purchase orders, or service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts, verify physical stock with system records, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Reconcile inventory reports and support monthly/quarterly stock audits.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related reports.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closings, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc accounting projects and tasks.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of accounting procedures and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or any related course
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Willing to learn and grow in the field of accounting
  • Experience in handling accounts receivable and accounts payable is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Philippine accounting and tax rules
  • Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets
  • Familiar with accounting tools like QuickBooks or SAP
