Data Governance Head

Job Summary:

· Plays a critical leadership role in defining and executing the bank's enterprise data governance strategy to ensure data is accurate, secure, accessible, and well-managed across the organization.

· Accountable for establishing governance frameworks, data quality policies, data ownership models, integration with new AI capabilities and compliance with internal and regulatory data standards.

· Bridge business and technology teams to enhance data integrity, improve data-driven decision-making, and minimize risk.

· Lead the Data Executive Committee.

Non-negotiable requirements:

  • An ideal candidate will have deep Data Governance experience and have accomplishments that show that they solved difficult problems in data quality, master data management, or even policies

· >12 years combined experience in a Data Governance, Business improvement/engineering, or Business Analyst role.

· Data Governance experience is a must.

· Extensive experience with master data, reference data, metadata, lineage, and data quality management

· Must have experience leading a team and creating strategies that work within the organization in which they operate.

· Very strong leader with excellent communication, people, influencing skills, and ability to connect with people across the organization, especially C-Level.

· Business writing skills and PowerPoint presentations in a clear, concise manner that make execution requirements clear

· Experience in working in the banking industry and knowledge of products and services and regulatory requirements is an advantage.

· The ideal candidate is highly influential, will drive key strategic initiatives across the enterprise, and will be expected to effectively manage risk against the execution plans.

· Experience in PH is preferred but having exposure internationally is a plus.
