As a Data Governance Analyst / Specialist, you will have end-to-end responsibility for supporting and enhancing data quality, governance, and processes to deliver an optimal customer and user experience. You will work within an agile squad alongside other experts to achieve the team's mission, while also contributing to a product development team to strengthen craftsmanship in data governance, product development, and process optimization.

This role sits within the Wholesale Banking Loan Servicing domain, where you will help develop, innovate, and safeguard knowledge to continuously improve digital journeys and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the voice of customers and internal users by continuously improving digital journeys.
  • Simplify solutions and processes and communicate them clearly to stakeholders (e.g., Lending Operations colleagues).
  • Develop, implement, and communicate the roadmap around the squad's vision.
  • Provide functional support to the main users of applications.
  • Define business requirements and translate them into functional specifications or user stories.
  • Ensure secure, flawless 24/7 operations while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Drive process optimization and support product lifecycle activities (development, management, harmonization, and phase-out).

We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Data Governance Analyst / Specialist who brings strong knowledge of Wholesale Banking Lending and a passion for improving processes through data governance. You are curious, collaborative, and eager to learn new skills, while staying on top of market and technology trends.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree.
  • 3–6 years of working experience in data governance, quality, or management.
  • Experience with Data Quality (DAMA Dimensions) and governance practices.
  • Experience in working with business data stewards, data owners, and training others on data practices.
  • Familiarity with Data Quality tools.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications or user stories.
  • Strong problem-solving and structural thinking skills.
  • Experience/affinity with Wholesale Banking product areas, Lending products, and IT (preferred).
  • Experience supporting a global/local user community.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proactive, willing to learn, and committed to long-term growth.
  • Optional: Basic SQL for data querying.
