Restaurant Manager

Job description:
● Understand the purpose, intent, rationale, mechanics, requirements and desired outcome of all company driven programs and initiatives; become the internal advocate of these programs and ensure all staff are aligned and working towards the same goals
● Develop business strategies, build client relationships, and identify new business opportunities
● Build strong relationships with companies and corporate offices for business partnerships
● Assign work tasks and activities, prepares schedules and ensures that all shifts are covered
● Actively strategize efforts to increase revenue in terms of customer growth, average spend, and other projects such as but not limited to event catering, deliveries, deli items, etc.
● Manage food and labor costs to achieve financial goals and increase Feta Mediterranean's profitability
● Oversee the aesthetic maintenance of the restaurant and grocery
● Maintain close, professional and effective links with all external contractors and suppliers to ensure that they deliver at the highest quality levels
● Provide efficient inventory management and procurement support. Lead monthly inventory counts in kitchen, warehouse, dispatch area, and physical store, and ensures weekly vendor orders are made and properly received; ensures units are stocked with appropriate levels of product. Coordinate with suppliers and help optimize purchase plan for both restaurant and grocery
● Create an exceptional customer experience and ensure that a very high level of customer service is constantly maintained.
● Build strong relationships with customers in order to gain a full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively.
● Assess areas of opportunity and recommend solutions or develop plans to address restaurant or staff issues
● Manage, record and resolve customer complaints in a prompt and professional manner
● Plays a role in developing and executing programs that generate guest satisfaction and achieve targeted financial goals
● Reports directly to the Operations Manager regarding all sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives of the restaurant
● Performs a supervisory role in the direction of service staff prior to and during the execution of all relevant restaurant efforts
● Provide effective and efficient support to the dispatching department in purchasing and managing all online orders
● Must be able to perform cashier tasks as required
● Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager
