DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This includes assessing waste streams, identifying opportunities for reduction and recycling, and creating programs to achieve those goals.

Monitoring and evaluating waste management processes:

This involves tracking waste generation, disposal practices, and recycling rates to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations.

Conducting waste audits:

This involves analyzing waste streams to identify areas where waste reduction or recycling can be improved.

Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations:

This involves staying up-to-date on relevant regulations and ensuring that waste management practices meet those standards.

Collaborating with stakeholders:

This involves working with government agencies, waste management companies, and other organizations to develop and implement waste management plans.

Data analysis and reporting:

This involves collecting and analyzing data on waste generation, disposal practices, and recycling rates to improve processes and track progress.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

· Graduate of any environmental science, civil engineering, sanitary engineering and related field, licensed required (if applicable).

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

· Experience in preparing WACS, feasibility studies for waste management facilities proposals

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

· Understanding different types of waste, waste disposal methods, and recycling processes.

· Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and develop effective solutions.

· Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, build relationships, and educate others on waste management practices.

· Ability to plan, organize, and manage waste management projects effectively.

· Passion for reducing waste, promoting recycling, and protecting the environment.

· Advanced MS Office skills.

· Familiarity and ability to comply with all applicable rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.

· Aptitude for working collaboratively with multiple disciplines within teams and projects.

· Current certifications in applicable skills a plus.

· Must have a Valid Driver's License with Restrictions, preferably Restriction Codes 1 and 2.

· Must be willing to travel (as needed/required).
