Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, usability and performance.
  • Identify, document and track software defects through the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and provide quality assurance guidance.
  • Automate repetitive test cases to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Continuously research and implement new testing methodologies and tools to enhance the testing process.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and train more junior members of the testing team.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years of experience as a Manual Tester, with a strong background in testing web applications, mobile apps and enterprise software.
  • Proficient in manual testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in test automation using tools like Selenium, Appium or similar.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and processes.
