Qualifications

Must Have:


• Graduate of any bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent.


• Must have minimum of 3 years solid experience as Manual Tester. (Non-negotiable)


• Must have experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. (Non-negotiable)


• Solid knowledge of manual testing methodologies and tools. (Non-negotiable)


• Experience with testing tools like HP Quality Center, JIRA, or similar. (Non-negotiable)


• Must be knowledgeable in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). (Non-negotiable)


• Must be knowledgeable in Defect Life Cycle. (Non-negotiable)


• Knowledge in TOAD is an advantage.


• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.


• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly. (Non-negotiable)

Good to Have:


• Experience in banking.


• Strong understanding of banking processes and regulations.


• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.


• Familiarity with automated testing principles can be advantageous.


• Knowledge of SQL for database testing and querying.

Job Description


• Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on banking software requirements.


• Execute manual testing procedures to identify software defects and ensure functionality.


• Collaborate closely with software developers and business analysts to resolve issues and enhance software quality.


• Document and report bugs, errors, and deviations from specifications.


• Conduct thorough testing of banking applications, including core banking systems, payment processing, and customer-facing interfaces.


• Verify compliance with industry regulations and banking standards.


• Provide clear and detailed reports on testing outcomes to stakeholders.
