Product Lead Engineer URGENT

Job Summary

Must be highly skilled to bridge the gap between development and operations by ensuring smooth, automated, and secure delivery of software applications. This role is responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and monitoring systems, while embedding security and compliance across the software delivery lifecycle. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability of systems.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Work with product managers to understand business goals and user requirements.

• Take responsibility for end-to-end delivery of product features.

• Design and define scalable, secure, and reliable architectures aligned with business and product requirements. Provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership throughout project lifecycles.

• Translate business needs into detailed development plans. Oversee technical execution, establish timelines, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Define strategies for integrating systems, APIs, and third-party solutions. Ensure interoperability, performance optimization, and security across multiple platforms and environments.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and performance optimization. Provide feedback and mentoring to developers to elevate overall team capability.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Developers, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions. Act as a trusted technical advisor and mentor to development teams.

• Provide clear direction, set goals, and ensure team members understand their roles in achieving objectives.

• Evaluate system performance and scalability, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to support growth and efficiency.

• Ensure that architecture and development practices comply with security standards, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.

• Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure usability and great user experience.

• Collaborate with DevOps/Platform engineers for smooth deployments.

• Work with QA/test engineers to ensure high product quality.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and development guidelines. Promote knowledge-sharing sessions across teams.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. Evaluate new tools and practices, and recommend their adoption where beneficial to the business and product roadmap.

• Offer ongoing training, mentorship, and career advice to help team members grow their skills and potential.

• Conduct performance reviews, give constructive feedback, and work with team members to improve performance and meet targets.

• Ensure team members have the necessary resources, tools, and support to perform their jobs effectively.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).

• At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Senior Software Engineer.

• Strong background in system architecture, software design patterns, and development methodologies.

• Demonstrated expertise in integration design, API management, and system interoperability.

• Hands-on experience in code review, debugging, and performance tuning.

• Familiarity and experience in VoIP communication systems using the open-source Asterisk PBX framework.

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, etc.).

• Familiarity and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Specific skills & abilities:

• Strong foundation in software engineering (frontend, backend, or full stack).

• Experience with Git, CI/CD, DevOps basics.

• Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies.

• Ability to see the big picture and design scalable technical solutions that align with business goals.
