Job Summary:

RBS Junior Business Analyst I will play a crucial role in supporting RBS's business analysis and data-driven decision-making process. Junior Business Analyst I will work closely with the RBS Head of Project Management and stakeholders to gather and analyze data, identify business needs, and provide insights to drive improvements and efficiencies. A programming background will be essential to better understand technical requirements, collaborate with developers, and support system-related analysis.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and validate data from various sources to support business analysis and decision-making.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and generate actionable insights.
  • Create reports and dashboards to visualize and communicate data findings to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of business processes, requirements, and analysis findings.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders to support project planning.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of business solutions.
  • Participate in quality assurance and testing activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and software solutions.
  • Apply programming skills to analyze datasets, automate reports, or support application feature validation.
  • Continuously develop your skills and knowledge through training and learning opportunities.
  • Perform other tasks that the Immediate Superior or Company may duly assign.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.

Work Experience

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in business analysis or related field.
  • At least 1 year of programming experience (preferably in SQL, Python, .NET, or similar).
  • Familiarity with business analysis concepts and methodologies is a plus.

Competencies

  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Fluency in Google Workspace and Cloudspace.
  • Basic understanding of programming and database concepts.
  • Adept at creating clear and concise documentation, including requirement documents, process flows, and use cases.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Others:

  • Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) and SQL certification are advantages.
