About the Role

CoreProc, Inc. is looking for Junior QA Engineers to join our team. You will be responsible for testing web pages, web applications, and mobile applications (Android and iOS) to ensure quality, performance, and usability. This includes conducting multi-browser compatibility testing and verifying mobile responsiveness across different devices and screen sizes.

You'll work closely with developers, project managers, and other QA peers to execute test cases, improve frameworks, and enhance the testing process across the organization. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for web pages, web apps, and mobile apps.
  • Perform multi-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness testing for web pages.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure product quality.
  • Enhance QA processes, testing frameworks, and documentation.
  • Ensure software releases are delivered with a high degree of accuracy and reliability.

Must-Have Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • 0–2 years of experience in software QA / testing (entry-level applicants with strong fundamentals are welcome)
  • Working knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Working knowledge of multi-browser and responsive testing for web pages
  • Familiarity with version control systems (GIT)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Nice-to-Have (Preferred) Skills

  • Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress)
  • Experience testing APIs and web services
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development practices
  • Exposure to bug tracking/project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
